I loved eating this dish in Ponty (Pontypridd) market in the early 80s with my mother, it was served with a spoon in a smoke filled windowless cafe in the depths of the market, white pepper and vinegar were always doused on, then cake and custard for afters*. Faggots are large meatballs made from sheep offal.
